Dr. Richard A. Schultz
Richard A. Schultz focuses on geomechanics in Subsurface Integrity. The author of 120 technical papers, books, and chapters, and several hundred professional abstracts and reports, he received his B.A. degree from Rutgers University, M.S. degree from Arizona State University, and Ph.D. degree from Purdue University. Dr. Schultz was an instructor of State oil and gas regulators with TopCorp and was appointed to membership on the Interstate Oil and Gas Compact Commission. Formerly with ConocoPhillips as Principal Geomechanicist and the University of Nevada, Reno, as Foundation Professor of Geological Engineering and Geomechanics (now Emeritus), Dr. Schultz is a licensed Professional Geologist in the State of Texas (#11755). Primary work is on safety and reliability of Underground Natural Gas Storage facilities and oil-and-gas fields, including risk identification and mitigation, and regulator engagement. I have been retained in nationally prominent cases of natural gas related subsurface integrity and can opine in the areas of geology, geomechanics, and subsurface risking.
Shelia Darby is the practice leader of Darby Finance, where she leads the valuation and economic modeling practice areas. Shelia brings nearly 20 years of experience in valuation and financial modeling covering both domestic and international projects and companies. Prior to Darby Finance, Shelia served as the Assistant Treasurer of Transocean and held various valuation and finance roles at ConocoPhillips, including the international rollout of the financial modeling and valuation course to over 200 finance employees located throughout the United States, Canada, Scotland, China, Singapore and Australia. Shelia is a certified P.M.P., holds an MBA from Rice University and a bachelor's degree from Baylor University. She is a candidate for the Series 79 license. Past engagements have included: oil and gas (upstream, midstream & downstream), liquefied natural gas (LNG), shipping, transportation, renewables (solar and wind) and mining.
