Linton A. Mohammed holds a Bachelor of Science degree, a Masters in Forensic Degree, and a PhD (Human Biosciences). His doctoral thesis was based on the forensic examination of signatures. Linton is a Past-President of the American Society of Questioned Document Examiners (2010-2012), a Fellow in the Questioned Document Section of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences, a member of the Canadian Society of Forensic Science, and the Forensic Science Society.

Linton has testified more than 100 times as an expert witness in the US, England, and the Caribbean.

Linton is certified by the American Board of Forensic Document Examiners, Inc and also holds a Diploma in Document Examination from the Forensic Science Society (England).

Linton has published several articles in peer-reviewed journals and presented many papers and workshops to colleagues at professional meetings. He is also a reviewer for several major forensic science journals.
