Dr. Victoroff trained at Harvard, and has served as an expert witness for more than 25 years. He is a board certified neurologist, a board certified psychiatrist, and also board certified in behavioral neurology and neuropsychiatry. In addition to his Harvard training, he completed an advanced fellowship in neurobehavior at UCLA. He currently serves as Associate Professor of Neurology and Psychiatry at the Keck School of Medicine, of the University of Southern California.

Dr. Victoroff has been qualified by Municipal, State, and Federal courts to testify in all aspects of neurology and psychiatry. His subspecialty expertise is in cases of traumatic brain injury. He is the principal author of the first textbook on concussion, "Concussion and Traumatic Encephalopathy," published by Cambridge University Press in 2019. He was also selected by the Surgeon General as a founding member of the NFL Neurologic Care Program. He has testified in 48 depositions and 19 trials. He has also testified in cases of stroke, epilepsy, neurorehabilitation, PTSD, depression, aggression and violence, testimonial capacity, fitness to stand trial, and other neuropsychiatric disorders. As a rule, Dr. Victoroff has consulted 60% of the time with defense attorneys and 40% of the time with plaintiff's attorneys. His triple board certification, his international renown for his textbook, and his impartial persuasiveness on the stand seem to have been factors in his record of forensic success.
