Grant D. Mr. Stiefel is the principal and founder of Litigation Limited, a boutique legal bill auditing and consulting firm, and he has been retained by and/or audited invoices from many of the largest law firms in the United States and Canada, in addition to hundreds of regional and local firms. He has trained in-house counsel and C-level executives from a host of Fortune 1000 companies on timekeeping and hourly billing issues and helped a number of clients develop hourly billing guidelines for outside counsel.
Mr. Stiefel is a member of the California State Bar; a trained attorney-client fee arbitrator with the Los Angeles County Bar Associations Attorney-Client Mediation Service and the San Fernando Valley Bar Associations Fee Arbitration Panel; and a certified California State Bar MCLE instructor on legal billing issues. He has been accepted into numerous professional and expert organizations, including the National Association of Legal Fee Analysis (NALFA); the A.M. Best Certified Attorney Fee Practice Group and the Round Table Group. He is a member of the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance (CLM), where he serves on the Audit Committee.
